Wide receiver from the Cowboys supposedly meets with the team after being released.

The Jacksonville Jaguars released Jones, who is being pursued by other teams.

Schultz said the former second-round pick visited with the Titans and Cardinals.

Jones, from Dallas, could be the Cowboys' No. 3 WR and add depth.

Dallas failed to enhance their receiving corps in the NFL Draft and early free agency.

March saw the Cowboys release WR Michael Gallup.

(He joined the Raiders.) In his first two seasons, former third-rounder Jalen Tolbert has 24 receptions for 280 yards and two touchdowns.

Dallas found another pass-catcher in Southeast Missouri State WR Ryan Flournoy (pick No. 216) in the sixth round.

Jones missed eight games last season due to a knee issue. He caught 34 passes for 321 yards and two touchdowns.
