Vegan Chocolate Chia Seed Pudding Recipe  

This recipe requires soy milk or another sort of plant-based milk. "I have made this with all types of plant-based milks and it will work fine with any of them," Hahn said.   

Ingredients: ½ cup soy milk, 2 tablespoons chia seeds, 1 tablespoon cacao powder, 1 tablespoon maple syrup, and 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon.  

Optional ingredients include sliced strawberries, blueberries, vegan chocolate chips, slivered almonds, and coconut whipped cream.  

Pour the milk into a wide-mouthed jar or container with a lid.  

Add the chia seeds and mix thoroughly.

Now, add the cacao powder and mix to break up any clumps.   

Then, combine the maple syrup and cinnamon. Stir thoroughly again.  

Put the jar's lid on and refrigerate for at least an hour. The chocolate chia pudding is ready for serving.
