Tom Holland is making a comeback to the live theater scene.
This London West End production of William Shakespeare's "Romeo & Juliet" will feature the Spider-Man actor in the role of Romeo. The revelation
was revealed on Tuesday on Instagram, following his hint the day before about a "big announcement."
Jamie Lloyd is the theater director of the "Romeo & Juliet" production.
He previously collaborated with Jessica Chastain on "A Doll's House" and Tom Hiddleston on "Betrayal" on Broadway.
Beginning in May, "Romeo & Juliet" will play for a 12-week limited run at London's Duke of York's Theatre. According to the description,
the show is a "pulsating new vision of Shakespeare's immortal tale of wordsmiths, rhymers, lovers,
and fighters."Holland began his career in theater, so this will be somewhat of a homecoming.
