The defending Super Bowl champs have just become even more deadly.

The Kansas City Chiefs, less than three months after winning their second Super Bowl in a row, traded up in the first round of the NFL Draft on Thursday to address a major team need.

Despite getting hot at the perfect moment, the Chiefs struggled to find many passing threats, with no one going for more over 1,000 receiving yards (Travis Kelce had 984 while missing two games).

Rashee Rice, a rising sophomore, stepped onto the scene later in the season, but outside of that, trust in pass-catching was uncommon.

The Chiefs now have the quickest player in the NFL on their roster after selecting Texas wide receiver Xavier Worthy.

At the NFL Scouting Combine, Worthy ran the quickest 40-yard dash ever recorded (4.21 seconds).

Worthy set career highs with 75 receptions for 1,014 yards during his third and final season at Texas.

During his college career, he caught 197 passes for 2,755 yards and 26 touchdowns.
