Olivia Dunne got the first annual Coaches Award immediately after LSU's 2024 NCAA Championship victory. 

Olivia Dunne received the Coaches Award from LSU Gymnastics for her commitment to teamwork.  

Olivia Dunne, 21, began her season with an impressive 9.875 on the floor exercise in LSU's season opener against Ohio State.  

Throughout the NCAA season, the LSU Tigers have been at the top of their game, starting each meet as the top seed.   

They achieved a total score of 198.225 to defeat the California team, which finished with 197.850.  

Dunne, while not being in the last four on the final day of the tournament, was a continuous supporter of her girls from the sidelines.  

Her passion to her team and willingness to go to any length for LSU were greatly appreciated by the university.  

In an Instagram post, LSU Gym announced Dunne's first Coaches Award. It featured their star gymnast Olivia Dunne's stunning floor maneuver, along with the caption:

"The ultimate team player. @livvydunne received the first annual Coaches Award for always being prepared at any moment and delivering when her team needed it!"
