On Sunday, the Grizzlies banned star point guard Ja Morant after he was caught brandishing a gun in an Instagram Live video on Saturday.
This is Morant's second suspension this year for flashing a gun on film.
"We are aware of the social media video involving Ja Morant," the Grizzlies said in a release. "He is suspended from all team activities pending a league review. We have no more comments at this time."
Saturday's video shows Morant in a car with pals, listening to music, when he pulls out a revolver and aims it up.
After seeing the gun, the camera rapidly pans away from Morant.
Morant was suspended for eight games after posting an Instagram Live video of himself clutching a gun in a nightclub in Colorado in March.
He finally returned to play, remaining active until the end of the regular season and the team's first-round playoff exit.
