NBA world reacts to huge Ja Morant new

After leaving the team this month, Memphis Grizzlies standout Ja Morant has missed nine games. It appears he will return from his long hiatus on Wednesday.

Morant's personal difficulties include allegedly assaulting youngsters and posting a gun-wielding Instagram live video in a nightclub.

He quit social media and entered a counseling program to improve.

He appears to have shown the Grizzlies that he can play again. He will play against the Houston Rockets on Wednesday, per ESPN's Tim MacMahon.

Morant will return from the bench, according to MacMahon. Grizzlies coach Taylor Jenkins told him this “might be the case for a couple of games”.

Although his role may be diminished on Wednesday, many are excited to see him return for Memphis. The Grizzlies need Ja Morant to recover soon for a possible postseason run.

Memphis is the second Western Conference seed with a 44-27 record before Wednesday's game.

At 27.1 points and 8.2 assists per game, Morant has been great this year. He should soon resolve his off-court concerns and return to his stellar play for Memphis.
