Livvy Dunne, dressed in Pirates garb, is excited for Paul Skenes' debut: 'Nothing can top this!'

Of all the instances Livvy Dunne has observed in her lover Paul Skenes' early career, his MLB debut is "probably one of her favorites."

Skenes, the Pirates' top overall pick in the 2023 MLB Draft, had his first start on Saturday afternoon, and Dunne couldn't be happier.

He went four innings, allowing three runs on six hits and seven strikeouts.

The right-hander hit 100 mph 27 times, including 102 in the first inning.

"I had some nerves at first, but I've kind of channeled that into excitement," Dunne said in an interview with Sportsnet Pittsburgh. "I just have the most confidence in him ever."

Livvy Dunne says witnessing Paul Skenes make his Major League debut is one of her favorite moments.

"I have so many amazing memories with him, but I know how hard he has worked for this moment," Dunne said from his suite at PNC Park.

"Seriously there's nothing that can top this, I'm just so proud."
