Jelly Roll completed 5K with Bert Kreischer, who was carrying 50 pounds on his back.

The comedian, who co-hosted a 5K run in Los Angeles on Tuesday with his 2 Hearts, 1 Cave podcast co-host, Tom Segura, as part of the Netflix Is a Joke comedy festival,

said on Thursday's Jimmy Kimmel Live that he completed the route twice, once alongside Jelly Roll.

Kreischer also stated that he used a 50-pound bag on his back during the competition with Jelly Roll, as the stand-up comic had previously shed 50 pounds.

In an interview with ET following the 5K, Jelly Roll claimed that he had lost an estimated 50 to 70 pounds while training for the race.

"I couldn't walk a mile when I started trying to do this back in January," he stated to ET.

The musician was overjoyed to have completed the marathon, stating he left feeling "really motivated."

"It was a little bit harder than I thought it was [going to be]," he stated, "but it's awesome, man."

"I think the coolest thing is how many people stopped to tell us that they were motivated by us -- other big guys," he shared.
