Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire Sequel (MCU) Has a writer been tapped to write the potential MonsterVerse film?  

Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire is doing exceptionally well at the box office and continues to generate revenue.  

The filmmakers are well aware of the film's success and have taken a daring step to extend that success into the series.

The latest MonsterVerse film sees the two Titans cross paths for the fifth time.  

The film was produced by Legendary Pictures and distributed by Warner Bros Pictures internationally and Toho in Japan.   

Adam Wingard directed it, and the cast included Rebecca Hall, Brian Tyree Henry, Dan Stevens, Kaylee Hottle, Alex Ferns, Fala Chen, and Rachel House.  

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Legendary Pictures is working on a sequel to Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire.  

Dave Callaham is apparently set to write the script for the untitled sequel. The American screenwriter is most known for his work on Shang-Chi, the Legend of the Ten Rings  

According to sources, Legendary hired Dave to write the initial draft of Godzilla, for which he gained story credit. Godzilla was released in 2014
