Frozen grapefruit margaritas

A tasty and refreshing variant on the conventional drink can be made by substituting grapefruit juice for some of the lime juice that is often used in margaritas.

This will result in a drink that is significantly more refreshing.

Among the cocktails that are visually pleasing, one that contains red grapefruit is among the most appealing.

Unlike the vast majority of frozen margaritas that are sold in restaurants,

these cocktails do not have any additional sweetness added to them during the preparation process.

3–4 grapefruit 3/4 cup tequila ¾ cup Cointreau

1/4 cup lime juice 3 cups ice cubes One-tsp Kosher salt

Cut 1 grapefruit into thin wedges for garnish. Squeeze the remaining 2–3 grapefruit for 3/4 cup juice.

Blend juice, tequila, Cointreau, lime juice, and ice cubes till smooth. To lightly cover the rims of 6 cocktail glasses, rub one squeezed grapefruit half on them and dip them in salt.

Divide the margarita mixture across glasses and garnish with grapefruit wedges.
