Deion Sanders has prioritized the transfer portal over traditional high school recruitment since taking over as coach at Colorado in late 2022.
His most significant recruiting addition ahead of the 2024 season is Jordan Seaton, an IMG Academy offensive tackle and consensus five-star prospect.
Buffaloes quarterback Shedeur Sanders under relentless pressure in 2023, and Seaton will be expected with keeping him upright this season.
Seaton, who had scholarship offers from numerous Power 4 institutions, was introduced to the Colorado media on Wednesday, and he praised Sanders' recruiting tactics.

Sanders jumped straight into coaching the desired tackle, suggesting three areas for growth rather than merely telling Seaton what he wanted to hear. That approach greatly impressed the IMG star.
"He told me I need to bend my hips a little bit more, so I'm like, 'I can work with that,'" said Seaton. "Right now, you are attempting to elevate me while I am not even present.
You believe in me and want me to succeed, despite the fact that I have yet to visit your school. So that's what stood out to me the most. I don't enjoy having yes guys in your ear."
