Carrot Juice Recipe

Ingredients: – 4 large carrots, washed and trimmed – 1 apple, cored and chopped (optional, for added sweetness) – 1 inch piece of fresh ginger, peeled (optional, for added flavor) – 1 lemon, peeled and seeded (optional, for a citrusy kick) – Water or coconut water (optional, for a thinner consistency)

Prepare the carrots by washing them thoroughly under running water and trimming off the ends. If the carrots are organic, you can leave the skin on for added nutrients. Otherwise, peel the carrots before juicing.

Chop the carrots into smaller pieces that will fit easily into your juicer chute. This will help ensure smooth juicing and prevent any clogs or jams

If using an apple, core it and chop it into smaller pieces. Adding an apple to the carrot juice can enhance its sweetness and flavor.

If using ginger, peel a small piece of fresh ginger root and chop it into smaller pieces. Ginger adds a warm and spicy flavor to the juice and also offers additional health benefits.

If using lemon, peel the lemon and remove any seeds to prevent bitterness. Lemon adds a bright and citrusy kick to the juice and can help balance the sweetness of the carrots.

Once all the ingredients are prepared, feed them through your juicer one at a time. Alternate between the carrots, apple, ginger, and lemon to ensure even mixing and extraction.

If desired, you can add a splash of water or coconut water to the finished juice to thin it out and adjust the consistency to your liking.

Once all the ingredients have been juiced, stir the juice well to combine all the flavors. You can also strain the juice through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth for a smoother texture, although this is optional.

Pour the freshly made carrot juice into glasses and serve immediately. Enjoy it as is or garnish with a slice of lemon or a sprig of mint for an extra touch of freshness.
