Caitlin Clark understands that she is under a lot of pressure
to produce at the professional level after becoming possibly the most popular women's basketball player of all time and the first overall pick in the WNBA Draft.
But she wouldn't want it any other way.
Caitlin Clark talked up about the enormous pressure she will be under this season after her first session with the Indiana Fever on Sunday, making it plain that she welcomes it all.
."I believe that no matter what occurs, there will be expectations and pressure on my shoulders, as well as on this team, to perform really well.
"That is how you want it," Clark told Fox News. "We would not want anything else.
We want people to come to our games; we want to win a lot of basketball games this year, and I expect to perform well.
When her Indiana Fever play the Dallas Wings in their first preseason game, Clark will get her first WNBA taste. Her performance will be assessed.
