Caitlin Clark Adjusts Shoulder During Promotion at Bucks-Pacers Playoff Game

Caitlin Clark is one of today's biggest sports stars, and she'll make her WNBA preseason debut in less than a week.

Until then, the former Iowa Hawkeyes standout is making the rounds in Indianapolis to promote her new team, the Indiana Fever, who selected her with the first pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft on April 15.

With that in mind, Clark attended Friday night's NBA playoff game between the Milwaukee Bucks and the Indiana Pacers at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, revving up the Pacers' race car as part of the pregame buildup.

But calamity nearly struck when Clark took part in the T-shirt toss promotion.

At halftime, she grasped her arm and looked to mutter, "My shoulder."

Hopefully, it's not serious. Clark is one of the most highly anticipated players in WNBA history

and an unfortunate off-court accident is the last thing the league needs as women's basketball grows in popularity.

Clark will make her WNBA preseason debut Friday at 8 p.m. ET when the Fever face the Dallas Wings.
