Anya Taylor-Joy sparks concern as she hints at bad experience on Furiosa set

During a recent interview, Anya Taylor-Joy made comments regarding filming her latest project, Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, that raised concerns.

In a recent cover article for The New York Times, the 28-year-old actress stated that filming was a solitary experience, but refused to go into greater detail.

"I've never felt so alone as I did while making that film," she remarked. "I don't want to go too deep into it, but everything that I thought was going to be easy was hard."

When pressed further, the Menu actress said grimly: "Next question, sorry."

"Talk to me in 20 years," Anya said. "Talk to me in 20 years."

Users took to X, formerly Twitter, to express their concern for the newlywed actress.

"Anya never said anything like this before... what exactly happened on that set damn," one person pondered, uploading a screenshot of the interview.

I've seen several people in the industry say they're surprised no one died on those sets because they're so dangerous," added another in the comments. "I can only imagine how extreme that environment is."

Meanwhile, a third contributed to supporters' relief by explaining the reason for her comments through references to previous interviews.

"She elaborated in previous interviews. The work itself was arduous, with long days and physically demanding tasks. "She was frequently the only actor in shots that took hours," they explained.
