The Memphis Grizzlies have suspended Ja Morant from all team activities after a video was recently released on social media and has since been deleted,
The Grizzlies announced the penalty on Sunday in a brief social media message, adding that it is pending league review.
The punishment comes two months after the NBA suspended Morant for a similar incident in Denver.
"We are aware of the social media post involving Ja Morant and are in the process of gathering more information,"
NBA spokesperson Mike Bass said in a statement Sunday.
According to ESPN, the ban stems from a purported incident that occurred Saturday during an Instagram Live
session on Morant's friend Davonte Pack's account, during which the All-Star allegedly brandished a weapon while driving and singing a rap song.
The video has now been deleted. It is unclear whether it expired or was purposely deleted.
